24 short hours of travel later I’ve arrived!

So incredibly happy to say that I’ve arrived in Sydney after what felt like one of the longest days ever! Luckily I got some sleep on the plane and was able to reflect on this incredible opportunity. On the plane ride from LAX to Sydney I watched a fantastic movie “About Time” about a young man in England who turns 21 and his father lets him know that he has the incredible skill to travel back in time. The movie follows what this young man does with his new found talent, the days that he needs to try a few times to get just right, and the hard days that no one wants to live once. Of course I won’t spoil the movie but I ended up watching the last 25 minutes of the movie crying which became happy tears. The movie ends with the young man reflecting on life itself and how we are all traveling through time together. As Christians however it’s not as simple as traveling through time together, we believe that God has a plan for us, for each and every day and everything that happens, happens for some divine providential reasoning. I’m about to begin an extraordinary journey here in Sydney and I cannot wait to discover what He has planned for me.
